Parsons Green Prep Destination Senior Schools 2023
The success of the preparation for a smooth transition to senior school at Parsons Green Prep (PGP) is measured by four criteria. These are the transition to the school of choice by the family, the number and range of offers of places from a recommended maximum of five applications per pupil, scholarship awards and, most crucially, feedback from PGP pupils that they are happy and embracing all that their chosen senior school provides throughout Year 7 and into later years.
The school’s robust and tailored curriculum provides a strong foundation of knowledge, key skills and the content to successfully access any selective 11+ examination. The inclusivity of provision, personalised learning ethos and breadth of co-curricular provision fosters in our pupils a love of learning, higher-order thinking, self-confidence and the life skills to happily navigate and meet the expectations of the breadth of admissions criteria, including the interview process.
An 11+ handbook, prepared annually for our parents, supports navigation of the transition process and is inclusive of one-to-one tailored meetings with the Head and senior team, invitations to 11+ curriculum information events, the annual PGP Senior Schools Fair and huge support with the application process to highly selective senior schools at 11+. For parents seeking a 13+ boarding placement, our Head, Dr Edmonds, offers guidance as to the many options to secure a successful transition.
We are delighted to confirm this year’s 11+ results as follows:
