On Monday we celebrated PGP Sudoku Day. Each class had a sudoku challenge to solve. Not only is sudoku a lovely, calming activity but it is a great opportunity for children to practise their maths and reasoning skills. All the children that took part demonstrated resilience and a positive mental attitude. Everyone who gave the sudoku a go was awarded two house points and the winners of this challenge were awarded 20 house points. A huge congratulations to the winners and to everyone who took part. We hope we’ve sparked your love for sudoku!

Last academic year the children in our four houses selected Under One Sky (Earhart house), Starlight (Shackleton house), The Daisy Trust (Williams house) and Riding for the Disabled (Attenborough house) as the charities they wanted to support. Each house held various fundraising events and, thanks to the generosity of our parent community, the children raised a total of £1,595. Well done everyone!
