Year 4 journeyed around the world in AD 900 at the British Museum. Starting in Anglo-Saxon and Viking Britain, we studied ancient coins minted in London during King Alfred the Great’s reign and Viking coins imprinted with Odin’s ravens. We then travelled to Iraq, Benin and Mexico to study artefacts from other ancient civilisations. A fascinating trip.
